Useless Eaters an unknown entity that is quickly changing the unknown to known among punk lovers. The whole punk genre is exploding on the periphery again and Useless Eaters are quickly becoming part of that scene in an impressive manner. Having just released their new album, Hypertension, they are about to break out the way groups like the Fall and Japandroids have. In fact MTV Hive said this about them, “Little hints of classic punk like the Urinals and the Fall reveal themselves throughout the album’s nineteen(!) minutes, but the same could be said for most garage-punk records these days. What sets Sutton apart is his magnetic charisma and his ability to siphon all of his influences into a style very much his own.”

Now you can check them out yourself if you live in the Los Angeles or Bay Area. They’re playing the Echoplex Thursday and Friday they’l be in Oakland at Night Light. Check out some of their music and spend of that money on the resurgence of punk!
